PENNANTS RESULTS
Pennants Results: 19 OCT 2025
It was a big day for our Pennants teams, with both Division 1 and Division 2 in action.
Division 1: A Valiant Effort In a super tough day for our top squad, Division 1 fell agonizingly short, losing 5 and 4 to top-of-the-table Laidley GC. Our five handicap players battled hard but had to give a total of 33 shots over their games, which proved to be just too much of a hurdle.
Division 2: Fighting to the End.
Division 2 faced a red-hot Toogoolawah team that shot out of the blocks and was just too much to run down. Our boys never gave up and went down fighting.

Div 1 Pennants Round 4 12 Oct 2025
This week saw the Big guns return for the 4th round of the MDGA Div 1 Pennants competition.
The venue this week was the Ipswich Golf Club.
The Rosewood team took on the highly fancied Sandy Gallop team.
With most of the handicap matches seeing our warrior giving huge shot differences it was going to be a tuff battle for all playing today.
Many matches made it to the 18th with 3 of the last 4 games having to win the last 3 holes to square the match. It all comes down to the last match with our number 9 needing to hole an 8-foot putt to win the hole and square the match and he came up clutch.

Amazing job by all players and next week we see both teams in action.

Div 2 Round 7; 4th October 2025
The Div 2 Pennants team where in action again today at the Sandy Gallop GC.
Rosewood had in a super strong team to take on the well-traveled team from Esk GC.
While most games where tight in the end the class of our mighty Rosewood team shined through and got a huge win with the final score 5.5 to 1.5.
The Mighty Div 2 team have a rest next week and Div 1 are at Ipswich GC to take on the leaders in Sandy Gallop.

Div 2 Round 6; 28th September 2025
Div 2 Rosewood Pennants team played today at a very hot and dry Brisbane River GC.
The boys played against a very talented Lowood GC team who have many single digit players. We are super proud to announce that our boys got the job done again with a stirring 5/2 win . Congratulations team keep the good form going.
Div 1 Round 3: 21st September 2025
Div 1 played at Brisbane River GC today against Gatton GC.
It was a super tight tussle all day with all matches could have been won or lost in a few shots but the boys from Rosewood got the job done with a 5/4 win.
Div 2 Round 5: 21st Setember 2025
Div 2 played at Toogoolawah against a super strong Sandy Gallop GC.
Again it was super close but again the mighty Rosewood team come out on top with a 4/3 win.
Well done to both team come through clutch when needed.
Div 2 Round 4: 14 September 2025
Rosewood played at Ipswich today against the highly rated Brookwater team. The Rosewood team played amazingly well but unfortunately ran in to a red hot Brookie side that had 2 players hole out from distance to run salt into the wounds. Final score was Brookwater 5 def Rosewood 2.
Next week see both sides in action 21 Sep 2025.

Div 2 Round 3: 31st August 2025
Rosewood played at Lowood today and had some fresh faces in as they look to rotate some players through the season. All players had a red hot crack and we are super proud to say the boys got the win again today 4 and 3 laidley.
Special mention to Zane Pike who took out a massive win over regular Div 1 player Martin Manning. Congratulations team.
Round 2:
Div 1 played Brookwater at Laidley today.
We had some epic battles with some of the best scratch golfers in the MDGA and unfortunately we come up short today.
Well done to all the boys who put in amazing efforts with most games going the full 18 holes.
